Random Phase Approximation and extensions applied to a bosonic field theory

چکیده

An application of a self-consistent version of RPA to quantum field theory with broken symmetry is presented. Although our approach can be applied to any bosonic field theory, we specifically study the φ theory in 1+1 dimensions. We show that standard RPA approach leads to an instability which can be removed when going to a superior version, i.e. the renormalized RPA. We present a method based on the so-called charging formula of the many electron problem to calculate the correlation energy and the RPA effective potential.

درهم‌تنیدگی سامانه‌های سه‌بخشی بوزونی فراتر از تقریب تک مد در چارچوب شتاب‌دار

In this work, we generalize the entanglement of three-qbit Bosonic systems beyond the single-mode approximation when one of the observers is accelerated. For this purpose, we review the effects of acceleration on field modes and quantum states. The single-mode approximation and beyond the single-mode approximation methods are introduced. After this brief introduction, the main problem of this p...

Generalized Random Phase Approximation and Gauge Theories

Hugo Reinhardt† Institut für Theoretische Physik, Eberhard-Karls Universität zu Tübingen, D-72076 Tübingen, Federal Republic of Germany Abstract Mean-field treatments of Yang-Mills theory face the problem of how to treat the Gauss law constraint. In this paper we try to face this problem by studying the excited states instead of the ground state. For this purpose we extend the operator approach...

Magnetic Properties in a Spin-1 Random Transverse Ising Model on Square Lattice

In this paper we investigate the effect of a random transverse field, distributed according to a trimodal distribution, on the phase diagram and magnetic properties of a two-dimensional lattice (square with z=4),  ferromagnetic Ising system consisting of magnetic atoms with spin-1. This study is done using the effectivefield theory (EFT) with correlations method. The equations are derived using...

Collectivity of the low-lying dipole strength in relativistic random phase approximation

The relativistic random phase approximation is applied in the analysis of the evolution of the isovector dipole response in nuclei with a large neutron excess. The self-consistent framework of relativistic mean-field theory, which has been very successfully applied in the description of ground-state properties of nuclei far from the valley of β-stability, is extended to study the possible onset...
